Tile Manufacturing Operator

About

The Tile Manufacturing Operator program prepares students for entry-level and advancing roles in the tile production and manufacturing industry. Designed in collaboration with industry partners, the program provides hands-on training in the tools, equipment, processes, and quality standards essential to modern tile manufacturing operations.

Students gain practical experience across the full production cycle, including raw material handling, forming and shaping, drying and kiln operations, glazing and surface finishing, quality control, and basic automation and troubleshooting.

Graduates of the program are prepared for employment as tile manufacturing operators, production technicians, kiln operators, quality inspectors, or material handling specialists. The program also provides a strong foundation for apprenticeships, incumbent worker advancement, and continued skill development within the manufacturing sector.
