Diesel Powered Technology with CDL

About

The Diesel Powered Technology with CDL program provides practical experience in the repair and maintenance of engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, clutch and transmissions, hydraulics, drivelines and axles, frame and suspension systems, steering systems, brake systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.  Students receive instruction in diagnosing trouble, system analysis, disassembly, replacing defective parts, reassembling, etc.  The program mission is to provide technical instruction and skill development to enable students to enter employment in truck, construction, agricultural equipment, and other related fields as technicians and being able to test and operate the equipment with a CDL License.

The mission of Diesel Powered Technology with CDL Program is to train individuals for employment as diesel service technicians and mechanics and earn a CDL upon completion. The Diesel Powered Technology with CDL program provides practical experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel powered equipment. Students receive instruction in troubleshooting, engine analysis, disassembling engines replacing defective parts, reassembling, etc, to enable students to enter employment in truck, construction, agricultural equipment, and other related fields as technicians.
