Four local high school students dedicated their summer to exploring the cosmetology industry under the guidance of instructor Liz Shillings at TCAT Upper Cumberland. From June 1 to July 31, these students attended classes six hours a day, five days a week, gaining hands-on experience while preparing for their future careers.
Through Dual Enrollment, these students earned credit toward their high school diplomas while also accumulating hours toward their TCAT certificates or diplomas. This opportunity allows students to complete college at an accelerated rate and ensures a smoother transition into their chosen college program.
We are so proud of these students for taking this step toward their future and are grateful they chose TCAT Upper Cumberland to begin their journey!
